The thinking behind my photo-essay “Foreclosed Dreams” (a video)

In this podcast, I take you with me as I am photographing part of my ongoing photo-essay “Foreclosed Dreams.”

The work explores the empty homes and foreclosed dreams littering the American landscape in the wake of the foreclosure crisis. Besides showing you some of my images, I talk about my process and my motivations.

One response to “The thinking behind my photo-essay “Foreclosed Dreams” (a video)”

  1. why not interpose pics of homes (with people doing things) that were happily occupied (and most closely resembling the moments you were trying to project when you photographed the foreclosed homes). wouldnt this get viewers to feel the pain more?
